Probably the most difficult thing to write is intuitive concepts in into linear, logical language. Maybe this is why no one has attempted to explain the higher realms of the Sabian symbols - their spiritual components, manifestations. The symbols describe the geographical, scientific, biological, historical, psychological, physical, and political conditions – especially when examined in the light of our era, or of any time under investigation. Furthermore, they are delivered on multi-levels of consciousness and their interpretation can be mundane or commonplace to sublime. Each symbol holds a record of all the probable and possible creations pertinent to itself…..it is endless.

Through nearly a decade of study and work with the symbols perceived by the clairvoyant Elsie Wheeler, I have come to believe that those symbols are indeed divinely, or at least otherworldly inspired. In my opinion they offer a method of consciousness expansion for the astrologer and client. In my experience, they have served as portals to higher consciousness, other states of being, and as channels of information and inspiration from the angelic realms, and it is from this source that much of the following information derives. It is offered here for your own application and experimentation.

I cannot emphasize enough the importance of using the original Wheeler symbols as published in Jones’ Sabian Symbols of Astrology. Remember: all subsequent versions (including Jones’ commentary) are interpretations of the original. The visions and words of Elsie’s symbols were given to her from the Great White Brotherhood, and as such, each word was carefully chosen. You will find that the original wording of the symbols are the purest representation of the ideo/pictographs seen by Elsie. This becomes quite evident when one investigates the origins of the words or perhaps even experiences a symbol by or through the sound of a word or words used in the description. Furthermore, the original arrangement of degree symbols with their opposing degree illustrates the polarity factor, which is essential to opening the more subtle channels of the mind.

1 DEGREE = 60 MINUTES!

I am not of the opinion that a planet or point placement is assumed to be only in the degree into which it has lapsed – all placements are a full sixty minutes, even if split between degrees. For example: 11:20 Taurus, would equal 40 minutes of 11 Taurus and 20 minutes of 12 Taurus. This is my Jupiter placement, in the second house, with Sagittarius on the Midheaven. Both 11 Taurus “A Woman Sprinkling Flowers” and 12 Taurus “Window Shoppers” very much describe my 20+ year career in the flower landscape business. I’ve installed many sprinkler systems and planted an abundance of flowers, and shopping for flowers and foliage is an everyday event in a very Jupiterian way (I landscape HUGE gardens!) This is a practical example of a blending of 11 & 12 Taurus. Recently I channeled from Enoch, my angelic guide, the higher star-code of these degrees: 11 Taurus is “the Thousand-petalled Lotus flower of the Crown Chakra,” leading into 12 Taurus, “A Window to Higher dimensions”. It seems my vocation is undergoing a change, as I have become a receiver of Enoch’s messages concerning the Sabian Symbols. The whole split-degree theory is pertinent when one realizes that time is both a forward and backward movement.

INTERDIMENSIONAL SYMBOLS

One of the most compelling “downloads” I’ve received concerns what I have come to name “Pyramid Time-Lock Unfoldment”. “Pyramid” because the idea expresses 1) the three-fold relationship of a tropical zodiacal degree; 2) it’s sidereal counterpart and 3) its converse sidereal counterpart. “Time-lock” is the opening of the door, from one degree to the next, the threshold, represented by the slow movement of the precession of the equinoxes in relationship to the tropical chart. The measurement of this relationship is the sidereal Ayanamsha, and is calculated in advance of the tropical (referred to as the “converse”) as well as the traditional sidereal, which appears behind the tropical in the zodiac. “Unfoldment” is the (approximately) 72 years it takes for the Ayanamsha to move through one degree. The number 72 is the divine number of creation corresponding to the fifth harmonic. Thus, Pyramid time-lock unfoldment represents a period of particular creativity, or unfoldment, in accordance with divine plan.

So, Pyramid Time-Lock Unfoldment effectively marries time-systems of both Western and Eastern astrology into one chart, as described by 6 Taurus, “A bridge being built across a gorge,” or, in lay terms, connects the bi-cameral mind (cerebral cortex), the so-called left and right brains. Another way to describe the energy pyramid would be the converse placement representing the Yang (male) influence, the Tropical representing the central pillar, and the sidereal being the Yin (female or receptive) influence.

When we move to a new time lock, new symbols are combined that were not previously combined, so that the symbols take on new forms – Just like 10 degrees Aries: a man teaching new forms for old symbols. Why do old symbols take on new form? Because of time locks.

Correct Ayanamsha was given to me by Enoch and is unfortunately not available as an option on any of the current astrology software programs. However, some of these programs offer a user-defined Ayanamsha option. Most programs will ask for the Ayanamsha for January 1900. You will plug in 07 Pisces 03’41”. The converse sidereal must be calculated by hand. This is based on the principle that the grids shifted in January of 1976 to the 24 degree Ayanamsha placement.

I want to demonstrate the importance of minutes in degree analysis. I choose 10 Aries as a symbol that most readers can identify with. The majority of degree placements in charts are caught between the threshold markers. In my work I use full but split degrees and place them into pyramid formations or, on the flat chart, triangular coordinates with their corresponding opposing degrees. For example, 9° 10’ Aries, 10° 00’ Aries, and 10° 50’ Aries all contain a percentage of 10 Aries. The Ayanamsha for August 1, 2001 is 24 degrees 21’. Here is the math:

This appears to be a lot of information to assimilate. Maybe a story serves the purpose better in explaining.

Earlier this year while preparing a lecture on the symbols, it occurred to me that maybe the best way to understand symbology as an active, living reality and not just speculative theory would be to show how I first knew their truth. Most people I’ve observed most unconsciously collect objects that represent the symbols in their charts. Because I was excited by the idea of Pyramid Time-locks, I wanted to launch my idea to my peers. 10 Aries and its pyramid components were my subject matter. I was in need of many objects speaking as “a group”. I asked my friend Enoch for some inspiration. I waited a moment and then he said, “Look on the table to your right”… it was all there! Unknowingly the build-up of assorted junk on the end table came into view as a message.

Reader: please refer to the symbol list above.

On the table were these objects: the Sabian Symbol Book of Astrology -10 Aries; a boat-shaped dish with spoon in it I guessed the spoon to be the oar - 10 Libra; an assortment of office supplies: paperclips, ruler, pencils, notepad, pencil sharpener in the midst, a medallion of Christ - “the Office of Christ” – 15 Pisces; a decorative scarf draped over a lamp, 15 Virgo; an assortment of rocks gathered from San Pedro’s “massive rocky shore” – 5 Scorpio; an authentic, black, hand-carved African fertility doll – both 16 Virgo and 5 Taurus; a crystal ball – 9 Aries; across the room, three original paintings hanging on the wall!; still on the table, a door key from the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas – 6 Scorpio; an ashtray from San Francisco, with bridge – 6 Taurus; a candle-holder with candle – 4 Scorpio; a multi-colored ribbon bow on top of a gold bowl – 4 Taurus; a book of stamps with lily flowers on it – 17 Pisces; a business card from a man in the Pacific Northwest – 17 Virgo; a list of classes given by Arlene Kramer, who is self-employed – both 11 Aries and 11 Libra; a pair of reading glasses atop that list – 11 Libra. Inspiration by Enoch – 16 Pisces. 14 Pisces and Virgo and 3 Taurus and Scorpio – these objects were not specifically on the table but were in the surrounding area. I felt my focus for this example was more of a look ahead for the Sabian Symbols.

Such buried treasures as the Dead Sea Scrolls, the stone engravings of the Mayan tombs, the Tibetan Book of the Dead, the burial chambers of the ancient Egyptians and the hieroglyphics, the clay tablets of the Mesopotamian culture, the caves of the African Dogoma tribe, and the hewn stones of Easter Island, as well as the known and the yet-to- be discovered artifacts unearthed in archaeological digs are all coded clues meant to be understood in a new way in this time-lock era.

Zecharia Sitchin, scholar of ancient history and author of the Earth Chronicles series, has interpreted ancient writings, once considered merely myth, as the actual history of man’s origins. He contends that extra-terrestrials, called the Nefilim arrived here on earth to mine gold, and created worker slaves to extract the precious gold for their use. He presents the idea that the “missing link” in man’s evolution was the Nefilim’s genetic contribution to the primitive race pre-existing on earth.

(Looking at this group of symbols from a completely different perspective, I began to wonder if our current world leaders and presidents have a greater admixture of the “Nefilim blood” flowing through their veins. Maybe David Ickes book, The Secret Government isn’t so far-fetched. Consider 11 Aries, “The President of the Country” and 6 Scorpio, “The Gold Rush.”)

Soon other books came out: The Bible Code; the decoded symbols of the Palenque tomb lid, and so forth. I don’t think we’ve seen the end to this yet. The authors’ concepts vary, but the symbolic references are being taken more seriously as parts of a greater whole. Symbolism is making a breakthrough connecting our spiritual and primal beginnings.

Have you noticed that modern-day crystal-gazers are often involved in television, film and the arts? These mediums present portrayals of alternate realities thus educating the masses (in the way only Hollywood can do) of possibilities beyond our planet or solar system.

The opposing symbol to “The man teaching new forms for old symbols” is “the canoe approaching safety through dangerous waters” We can recognize the connection, the symbols can show us the lifeboat to the after-life, they offer us the awakening leading to ascension, and ultimately to a dimensional shift in consciousness.

The symbols can connect us to the time eras of all civilizations that have been or will be present on earth. They form a synthesis of all knowledge connecting all world cultures. By using the Pyramid Time-lock system, we can move the dial of the precession of the equinoxes backward and forward in time. More profoundly, the Sabian symbols act as a means of telepathic communication, both sending and receiving between the earthfield and the spiritual dimensions which transcend time and space.
